The Octopus

Dark, rainy and cold! No I am not talking about the weather here.

We are born, we grow up, we move out of our parents houses, we start to make our own lives. Sometimes in that process, we fell apart. What do we do? We get up, we move on. We move on to our next destination and try to make the best of it. But what if, if the old life keeps catching up to you, keeps wrapping you in its arms like an octopus does to its prey. What if, if this suffocates you, makes every breath you take, heavier by the moment.

What do you do? Specially if the life at the moment is what you have been wanting for a while. It is all around you, the life that you have been wanting, but you can't live it, because the the grip of the Octopus is too strong for you to get loose. What do you do then? Let go of your breadth? Let go of all the difficulties you went through to just calm it down? Give away to despair and hopelessness?

The answer is NO. You have to keep fighting. You are a warrior if you fight even in the face of defeat. You sit down, gather your crumbles, and get up again and again and again. You fight every step of your way, if you have to. Use that big brain of yours, get some sun, breathe some fresh air and fight again. That is what Life is, I guess.
